Arctic Adaptations
Step into the frozen frontier with our Arctic Adaptations outreach program! This immersive experience highlights the extraordinary ways Arctic animals survive and thrive in one of the planet’s most challenging environments. Participants will uncover the clever strategies used by marine mammals, seabirds, and fish to stay warm, find food, and navigate shifting ice and seasons.
Through interactive activities, a multimedia presentation, and surprising Arctic facts, learners of all ages will gain a new appreciation for the resilience of northern wildlife and the delicate balance of these ecosystems in a changing climate.
This program also includes our mobile touch tank, where guests can meet local cold-water creatures like crabs, urchins, and sea stars. It’s a hands-on way to connect with the chilly but vibrant world of the North Atlantic!
Aquatic Adventure
Set sail on a playful journey through the ocean with Aquatic Adventure, our interactive program designed specifically for preschoolers! This fun-filled adventure introduces young explorers to the wonders of the marine world through hands-on activities, creative storytelling, and engaging songs and games. Little learners will discover fascinating sea creatures, from how they swim, what they eat, and more while developing an early appreciation for ocean life.
