Dinoflagellates
Dinoflagellates are microscopic marine plankton that play a crucial role in ocean ecosystems. Some species are bioluminescent, glowing when disturbed.

Rock Crab
The rock crab is a robust, hard-shelled crustacean often found in rocky coastal habitats, where it uses its strong claws to catch prey and defend itself.

Toad Crab
The toad crab is a hardy crustacean often found in rocky and sandy areas along the North Atlantic, where it hides in crevices and feeds on small invertebrates.

Common Periwinkle
The common periwinkle is a hardy marine snail found along rocky shores and intertidal zones. It is well adapted to withstand harsh conditions, using its operculum to seal itself inside its shell during low tide.

Blue Mussel
The blue mussel is a bivalve mollusk commonly found in intertidal and subtidal zones, where it forms dense clusters attached to rocks and other surfaces using strong byssal threads.

Dog Whelk
The dog whelk is a predatory sea snail known for its ability to drill through the shells of other mollusks to feed.

Rhodolith
Rhodoliths resemble coral but are actually a type of red algae. They grow unattached, rolling along the seafloor like tumbleweeds.
